Patients with astigmatism need lenses with different optical powers at specific points that must be oriented precisely to correct vision. Avaira Toric lenses achieve this through Optimized Ballast Design, also known as Optimized Lens Geometry, helping keep the lens stable and accurate on the eye.
This multifaceted design supports visual acuity, fit, and comfort. The lens geometry and wide ballast band help the lens orient quickly for better performance and simple fitting. A uniform horizontal ISO thickness further enhances stability and delivers a consistent fit across the power range.
